The role of the air filter for the suction air compressor parts:

The role of the air filter of the Shouli air compressor is to filter the inhaled air to ensure that the air entering the compressor is clean and clean. If the intake air is mixed with impurities, it will cause wear of the rotor profile and contamination of the lubricating oil. Failure to maintain the air filter as required, or use of a replacement element, will reduce the life of the lubricating oil and the oil/air separation element and will void the warranty.

Air Filter Maintenance

The air filter element should be replaced whenever the air filter service gauge is pointing to the red zone when the unit is running at full capacity or when the time has expired. The replacement procedure is shown below:　

Filter element replacement:

Clean the filter housing.

2. Loosen the clamping ring.

3、 Rotate the rubber ring out of the dust cover and pour out the dust inside the dust cover; 

4, loosen the wing cap, remove the cartridge; 5, after removing the cartridge, clean the filter.

5, remove the cartridge, clean the inner cavity of the shell, not with compressed air blowing; 6, replace the new cartridge.

6、 Replace the new cartridge.

7、 Reinstall the filter;

8、 Reset the maintenance indicator (only meter type).

Filter inspection

1、 Put a bright light source in the cartridge, if the cartridge is broken, the light will come out from the small holes of the filter; 

2, check all the gaskets and gaskets and shell contact surface; if there is obvious damage, replace it immediately.

3、 Spare clean cartridges should be stored in a clean container.

4、 After the cartridge is installed, check and tighten all the connection parts before use.
