Excessive temperature rise is a common fault in the operation of screw air compressor, screw air compressor is always running at high temperature, which will seriously affect the exhaust volume and service life of the machine. When the temperature rise is too high, high temperature shutdown failure will occur. The causes are:

1. Temperature sensor failure. Failure of the temperature sensor will cause the PLC to falsely report that the temperature is too high, causing a shutdown.

2. Ambient temperature factors. The screw air compressor head outlet temperature is usually set at about 110°C, while the head outlet temperature is equal to the ambient temperature plus 60°C. The temperature of the head outlet is equal to the ambient temperature plus 60°C. Pit ventilation environment is poor, most of the high temperature is caused by this.

3. Temperature control valve failure. Temperature control valve in the compressor cold start, can make the oil bypass the cooler directly into the main head, accelerate the rise in oil temperature, to prevent condensation in the compressor, in the compressor after normal operation, according to the oil temperature can be adjusted to flow through the cooler and the ratio of the oil volume of the evening road, to control the temperature of the oil injection. If the temperature control valve is damaged or the action is not sensitive, it will make a large number of high-temperature oil without the cooler directly circulating into the host head, resulting in high host temperature.

4. Oil filter failure. Oil filter is used to filter dust and impurities in the oil circuit, after a period of time is easy to clog, clogging caused by poor oil return caused by the host high temperature.

5. Failure of the disconnecting valve. Oil cut-off valve is through the storage tank air pressure to control its reciprocating movement of oil spray, if the failure caused by the oil circuit is not smooth, resulting in high oil temperature; debris blocking the oil circuit or control of the air circuit, resulting in the oil cut-off valve closure does not spray oil, but also cause the host head due to a lack of oil or oil poor heat dissipation caused by the host temperature is high.

6. Insufficient lubricating oil, dirty oil cooler, clogging, can cause high temperature.

7. Cooling fan failure, air cooler blockage, exhaust resistance is too large, resulting in poor heat dissipation caused by high temperature. Should clean the cooler external dust and internal oil.
